You can permanently delete your Howl account at any time from mobile or web.

On mobile

To delete your account in the Howl app:

1. Open your Profile
2. Go to Profile Settings
3. Scroll to the bottom of the screen
4. Tap Delete Account
5. Confirm that you want to delete your account

On web

To delete your account on the web:

1. Click your Profile
2. Open Privacy Settings
3. Click the Delete Account link
4. Confirm that you want to delete your account

What deleting your account means

When you delete your account, Howl will permanently delete your profile information and other personal information that we are required to delete under applicable law.

This may include:

• Your profile and account details
• Identifiers associated with your account
• Personal information connected to your use of Howl
• Other information we are required to delete by law

Information we may keep when required

In limited cases, we may retain certain information if we are legally required or permitted to do so, including for:

• Legal compliance
• Security and fraud prevention
• Dispute resolution
• Enforcement of our policies
• Financial, tax, and accounting obligations

We retain that information only where necessary and only for the period required by law or for legitimate compliance purposes.

Before you delete

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
