Add emergency contacts to your Pack. Alert your Pack when you're in danger.
Alert your Pack Manually
Open the app, go to "My Pack" in the bottom right tab bar, and use the "Send Alert" slider at the top of the screen to alert your pack of emergency contacts.
If you upgraded to 24/7 Safety, which complements the Emergency Alert, after sending an alert you would receive an immediate phone call from Howl asking if you are in need of Police, Medical, or Fire assistance. Howl will call twice, and if you do not answer either time, we will automatically send Police to your location.
By default, the siren, meant to deter harassers and attract attention, will sound from your phone. You can turn this off before you send the alert or afterward in preferences.
Each member of your Pack will be sent an SMS, email, and push notification in the app saying that you need emergency assistance. They will be able to get your GPS coordinates, call you, and call your local police. To coordinate help, Pack members can message each other using Pack Chat.
